She was a flower arranger and had run her own florist shop before she died of a brain aneurysm.
Father: Hideo Akiyama- 48- A stern man, he is very aloof and distant to everyone around him. He is a businessman and is often traveling around the world without a second thought about his family. Although he has offered both his sons positions as partners in his business. They help to manage the homefront while Hideo expands the business internationally.
Siblings:
Hisao Akiyama- 18- Hiro’s fraternal twin who has been his rival and closest friend since birth. Although the two trust each other, they have moments where they become competitive as they are the same age and constantly butting heads. Hisao is very athletic in contrast to his twin’s quieter more serious attitude.

Short Biography:
Hiro was born the second son of the Akiyama family by two minutes. Growing up he and his twin, Hiseo, were incredibly close and often played together in friendly competition. When the boys were four, Hironori was born and the three became a close knit family despite their father’s constant absence, but with the presence of their mother’s care.
However, when Hiro was ten, his mother died from a brain aneurysm and the boys were left in the care of a number of nannies, none of whom bonded with the boys. Their father, at first, attempted to fill the parent role but was only able to create competition for his limited approval between the older Akiyama boys. However, because of their constant rivalry, Hironori was often left by himself and after a while both brothers noticed this and started to spend more time with the youngest while learning to dislike each other. Thus Hironori is the glue that still keeps the family together.
The start of his high school years was uneventful as he was academically superior but a bit of a loner. His brother was much more popular and athletic, but Hiro has no issues with this as he is at the top of his class while his twin’s grades are less than spectacular. The rivalry between the twins became more strained when Hideo offered both the boys positions as his assistants in the company when they entered the third year of high school. Unfortunately while Hiro took it seriously, Hiseo did not, and the two ended up butting heads more and more often about the issue of responsibility. Now Hiro plays secretary to his father while Hiseo disappears for prolonged periods at a time. The intended idea was that Hiseo and Hiro would split the work between them. It didn't work that way and thus Hiro and a secretary share the key responsibilities of playing assitant to the ever busy head of the Akiyama family. Hiro does not get to spend as much time as he could like to working for the company due to the fact that he's still in school, but manages to at least spend his spare hours where he would have had a job at the company, assisting to manage his father's schedule and appear with him at meetings.
A rich boy, the Akiyama boys are spoiled. They are confident in their abilities although the only one that is seemingly untouched by a slight air of arrogance is Hironori. Hiro does no chores and lives in the lap of luxury with bodyguards and maids due to his father's attempt to buy comfort and happiness with money after his mother, the control on the spoiling, died. Thus Hiro is free to do what he wants when he wants to do.
Academically intelligent and shrew at managing things, Hiro seems to be fasinated by the business world. However he also loves music and often plays the piano and various other instruments such as the cello and the violin.
Personality:
A quiet and reserved person, Hiro is highly observant and prefers to study a situation rather than act immediately. He often maintains a cool and aloof aura but in reality is a caring and loyal individual with a goofy side that he displays only to those he trusts and cares for. He is protective over his friends and is not one to back down when he sees one of them hurt. Hiro is there to offer comfort and a shoulder to anyone who needs it, but he is also resilent and can become violent when he sees someone he cares for her. He makes few friends and is very cunning and manipulative when he chooses to be.
Sample Roleplay
He did not like business meetings. They were boring with the concerns of old men who did not see the entire picture but rather the miniscule point of view of their individual divisions in efforts to impress the head bossman Akiyama and earn a raise to their already quarter of a million dollar paychecks. The discussion topic today was the debate of whether or not the Akiyama company should expand into cars in addition to its empire in software, manufactured goods, entertainment, and energy. The company was expanding rapidly and nothing pleased Hiro more than to watch the lines climb as he brought the company to greater heights. His father was expanding internationally, but Hiro took a personal pride in playing a small role in the company's expansion through his frenzied aid to his everworking father.
Please Okikawa-san explain to me why you believe that the company should not expand into the car manufacturing industry when all we have is growth for the past ten years. Mr. Hideo Akiyama said, twirling his pen lazily.
The man started to speak but Hiro's father cut him off again. Besides the fact that by expanding into cars we will no longer invest as much in your division of supermarket goods.
He blushed furiously before lowering his head. No answer. Hiro did not expect one although he had just seen a side of his father he was not fond of. The side that made the two of them friendly on business terms but rarely seek each other's company at home. Standing Hideo moved stood behind his chair at the head of the table. Let's remember that what is good for the company is good for all of us. Your individual departments are not important. What is important is the company as a whole. Anyone who disagrees can leave now. I have no qualms about finding people to replace you.
There was silence. Frowning slightly, Hiro shifted in his chair. Then its settled then. Hayasaki-san, I trust you will take care of the negotiations to begin the department. Nakano-san,bring me a list of your suggested department heads and managers. I trust your judgement that you will find the suitable employees for the job. I want updates every other day about the company. Hideo said, ignoring his son's movement.
With that he left, strodding into his office. Hiro followed, running to change into his school uniform in the corner of his dad's office in hopes of making it to school by the time the bell rang. His father liked to have his meetings either very early in the morning or in the late afternoon and evening in order to encompass the other international companies he worked with. Hiro loved the business world. Hiseo not so much. Hiro's twin was more fascinated by football games and girls than business or homework.
Hironori was asleep in it with his backpack clutched in his arms. Hiro smiled at his younger brother before lifting him into his arms and carrying him into his car. The boy had tagged along with the two older Akiyama's when they had left at five in the morning. Through the hour long meeting, the boy had fallen asleep with cookie crumbs on his shirt. The driver knew where to go and Hironori slept with his head leaning against the window until Hiro gently woke him up with a shake once they reached his middle school.
Bye Onii-san! He said cheerfully hopping out of the car and waving.
Have a good day Nori. Hiro replied more calmly but with an affectionate smile. Don't be late for dinner.
Hironori gave an affirmative nod before disappearing into the school. The rest of the car ride was silent as Hiro got to his own school and stepped into the building feeling annoyance at the lack of excitement in the academic world versus the strategic game of the business world. The former was a waste of time. The second was his personal chess game that he had yet to attempt on his own and therefore had yet to lose. He couldn't wait to get his fingers into the cookie jar and give it a go.
