Short Biography: Her mother died when she was 5 and being at such a young age when a parent disappeared isn’t very confusing for her. She knew her mother would never come back and that it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. She had mourned for that lost but that lost was over.
Transcending into her early teen years, she always was spell bound by her father’s excellent handling with a knife. He was always entertaining his guest with cutting the food and making an onion volcano on a hot plate. Just watching him astounded her with a innocent pleasure and exciment. Due to his strict diets, she has been able to keep a slim form as well as his over bearing want for her to stay skinny so she’ll be more available on the market. He was the father who wanted the best for his daughter, physical and academic attributes.
However a day robbed him of his amazing career. They had barley moved to Japan when she was 14 so he can work at L’Avenue. He had been hired to serve for the manager of L’Avenue which was a huge honor to any cook actually. ON his way however he was caught in a police chase where the culprit recklessly slammed into Sung Hi’s car. The car was already on a over passing freeway where it was shoved off the second level of the freeway and into the other level where cars piled on top of his.
When she reached the hospital he was still in the ICU but the doctors had already informed her that he wouldn’t recover his left arm, that arm was forever gone. It had been severed while being piled up in his probably despite attempt to let him out. The driver f the taxi had also lost his life and there was a funeral head for him.
Minji had to work to support the both of them while using the money saved up from his heath insurance and money over the years. He had worked so hard to take care of her that she spent every waking hour some how devoting her life to him. In school however, she is usually sleeping or ditching class to sleep somewhere so there for is placed in a C ranked class though she manages always to get in the top 5 of her class. Recently in the mail however the school had informed her and her father that she will be placed in Class B much to their surprise. She had always ditched class even though she had high marks and both of them though she’ll get dropped to a class D rank.
Personality: Minji isn’t your happy go lucky type of person. She thinks realistically and what can happen ahead of time to be prepared. She takes careful time planning out her weeks ahead so she’ll have everything in order and will get very upset if anything disrupts her calendar. Because of her current situation she usually is seen with panda eyes giving her a very angry or moody appearance, scaring off any suitors or potential friends. The girl hasn’t reached out to anyone because she believed that no one would take the time to give her a second glance. The time she does have to herself she usually studies or sleeps.
Many people don’t like her because of her additude and some what sultry apperence and she doesn’t even have to try that hard to look good or keep a thin body. Minji is unaware of the many enemies she had slowly formed over the years thinking that people can easily get over a fight, but the girls at the school don’t let things go that easily, especially when most of the people she picks fight with ‘accidentally’ are the ‘high’ social classmen.
Sample Roleplay
She heard her stomach growl as through her body as she listened to to her music through an ear piece. It wasn't time for her break yet and she was starving. The high school girl had unintentionally skip lunch to catch up on her sleep during her lunch break at school. She actually had to stay in class today, the teachers had formed a union to make her stay in class at least for one day, and sadly those hours were wasted on her as she already knew the subject. She ditched but she crammed, just to make him happy.
And she had came in late. It wasn't a total five minute late to work, no she was an entire 20 minutes late because of the stupid traffic that had to happen. Her work was about one hour of the opposite direction of where she lived meaning it was one hour and a half away from her high school. It was in one of those Harajuku like harems of the Tokyo suburbs where the streets crawled with life 24 seven, shopping bags in every store. She was lucky though, the manager wasn't in to check if she had clocked in on time.
"Hey Julie." She blinked as she heard someone call for 'Julie'. Turning around she saw a co-worker calling to her. "Julia!!" She had to blink twice, who was Julia.
"Hey come on! Stop staring and standing there and come help me!" The grown woman looked pissed as she was carrying a bunch of heavy clothing from the back room. Suddenly it clicked. She was Julia. Minji had forgotten that the store required they to have fake names so the workers seem foreign. Though most of them looked the same Minji was different, most of the women were small, midgets if you would say while she herself is 5''7 with a more mature face and tanner. She was the only 'exotic' girl there. The only Chinese Korean at least.
"Sorry Manda." She lied through her teeth as she rushed over to help her co-worker before the boxes over took her. They both shuffled to an empty table far from the area before dropping the box.
"Thanks. Man I though they were going to rip my arms off me." Minji silently agreed, those boxes were unusually heavy, most of the clothes were made of some kind of light and feathery material, why were these so heavy? Manda must o have seen the confused look on Minji's face because she answered.
"these are the new manikin pieces were suppose to assemble. Come on, help me." Minji glanced at the clock, her sepia eyes filled with sorrow.
Only two more hours till the end of her shift.
