He isn't very good with open affection, but he does his best let his children know he loves them. Akiko knows that he will bring her sweets regardless of how old she is though.

Short Biography: Akiko grew up rather simply. Her father is a business man so when Akiko was born they didn’t want for very much, of anything at all. She grew up in a normal enough home, and was content to be an only child, spending time with her friends and such. When she was nine years old though, he parents announced that she would be getting a younger brother or sister. Soon enough however, it was discovered her mother was having twins. Akiko was unsure about having babies around the house, she was excited at the same time. It was hard not to be with the way her mother was acting. The twins were born a little early, but they were still in god health. Akiko helped her mom and dad look after them, and as they grew up Akiko was always willing to look after them, regardless of how rambunctious they were.
Akiko always did well in school, though every once in awhile she’d get a little lazy. She managed to stay near the top of her class. She wasn’t very interested in joining sports, and instead joined other various extracurricular activities. That was until she reached her first year of high school. At that time she joined the track team. She wasn’t the best, but she was pretty good, and enjoyed herself. Akiko is aware that she has led a fairly normal life, and that she is lucky in that respect.
Personality: Akiko is a very lighthearted person. She is open and friendly and very slow to hate. She is blind however, and can tell when a person is no good, though it may take her awhile on some occasions. She likes being around others, but is also perfectly content to be on her own. Akiko loves to read and is constantly doing so. She doesn't read too many of the classics though, preferring fantasy novels, sci-fi, and manga. She is very smart, if a bit lazy at times. She manages to get good grades though, and is happy about that.
She likes running and joined track as a first year. She finds running to be extremely exhilarating. She is fairly fast, though she doesn't think she is the best. Nor does she really care to be the best, she runs because she enjoys it. Akiko also loves animals, and has a orange cat she named Inu as a joke. She would bring home every stray cat and dog she found if she thought he parents would allow it.
Sample Roleplay
“Aw, why do you always say that onee-chan?” Kioshi asked, a pout now on his adorable face. When his sister merely continued to stare at him he let out a giggle. Instead of answering her though, he grabbed her hand and tugged on it, trying to get her to come with him. She sighed and dropped the rag she held in her other hand and let Kioshi lead her toward his room. As they entered Akiko let out a gasp. Tora was in the room, no big surprise there, but what she was doing was certainly one. She was writing drawing on the wall, in marker. Kioshi released Akiko’s hand and gestured to the walls. “Isn’t it cool onee-chan? We did it in Tora’s room too.”
“ Oyamaa! Aren’t you guys to old to be writing on walls? Mama is going to have my skin for not paying attention to you, and you two are going to be in trouble too. What possessed you to do this?” Akiko pinched the bridge of her nose as she spoke, trying to keep the annoyance out of her voice. She didn’t do that very well though, since her younger siblings’ faces dropped in disappointment.
“We just wanted to make our rooms cool onee-chan. We drew dragons and stuff, we wanted our rooms to be special.” Tora said, her voice laced with sadness. They hadn’t meant to cause problems this time.
“You should have asked if you wanted to ‘decorate’ the room. We might have to repaint the walls now. I’m not sure though, we’ll have to wait until mama get’s home from the tea shop to see what’s going to happen. Next time please ask before you do things like this.” Akiko reprimanded gently, felling sorry for the twins who were obviously disappointed. She patted them both on the head before leading them to the living room. They waited there for their mother to return. When she did the children were reprimanded, but Ai said that they would keep the drawings on their walls for the time being. After all neither Ai nor Hisoka had time to repaint the walls. A fact that pleased Kioshi and Tora. Now they could keep the drawings, at least for a little while.[/size]
