It is ten years after the Zodiacs have been released from their
curse. All is well. Everyone is living the life they wanted too.
But then all of the former zodiacs get a call from akito to come to
the Sohma estate at once. Thats when the others find out about
the other zodiacs. There are more zodiacs, even though they were
released.
It is explained that because they were not released from the curse
on New Years (the same day the curse began) that it recycled
and went to the next zodiacs immediately after the first zodiacs
had been released. The oldest current zodiacs are 9 years old and
the youngest is 3. This means any of the sohma's could have
another zodiac child, the curse starting over...
Shigure, kyo, yuki, and everyone else are worried. They don't
know how to free the current zodiacs, because their situation
was different. They know since they aren't part of the zodiac curse
anymore they shouldn't interfere, but that doesn't stop them from
trying to help the children, whom they know for sure are suffering
just like they once had.
Tohru has promised to not interfere this time but she has two children
who are just as determined as her and unwilling to give in as kyo.
Along with the other former Zodiac's children, will everyone be
able to stop the curse before all the children are born?
