Toushirou wanted to escape from the english class because the teacher's pronounciation sucked and he could not take it plus he was awfully hungry because he was scheming his next thievery act all night and morning and therefore he went to eat at the school cafeteria. He didn't want to eat alone and he thought that Saito would be the best to keep him company while eating because the rest of the students were loud and annoying so he sat and this is how they started talking after Toushirou introduced himself.
