Here is a guide to the application form you need to fill in. The form itself can be found below. Copy and paste the format into a new thread on the 'Starting Out' board, with your character's name (not nickname!) as the subject of the thread.
You must have your character accepted by a member of staff before you may roleplay with him/her. If your character is unacceptable, the member of staff will give clear reasons, so that you can edit your application to better suit the forum.
Your application will not be accepted if all information has not been included in your application.
Feel free to make any changes to the coding and look of the application. As long as all the required information is there in the right order, you can edit it to your heart's content!

Basic Information
Family Name: Your character's family name.
Other Names: i.e. Your character's given name, and any other names, including nicknames.
Gender: Is you character male or female?
Age: Your character's age (between 16 and 18 only, please!)
Year and Class: Year 1 (aged 16), year 2 (aged 17), year 3 (aged 18); class A or B. Class A are the higher achievers in monthly class tests, and class B are the lower achievers.
Occupation: Does your character have a part-time job? They don't have to have one, it's just an option.
Appearance
Celebrity Claim: Take a look here to see which celebrities have been claimed already. Remember that it is not a necessity to use a well-known person as a play-by. There are various modelling sites (eg. www.donnabaldwin.com and http://www.newfaces.com) that you can use also.
Hair: Colour, style etc. of hair.
Eyes: Colour of eyes (No crazy colours, please!)
Body: How tall is your character? Are they slim, muscular, well-built, over-weight, lanky etc.?
Usual Clothing: What does your character tend to wear a lot of? This can include what clothing they wear, even what they do with their hair. This should be at least one large paragraph long, as you can include parts of their personality which may affect their choice of clothingetc.
Distinguishing Features (if any): (Optional!) You should put reasons for any features such as scars. For example if your character has a scar on their cheek, you could give an explanation of something like they were involved in a punch-up a few years back and the scar to their cheek never fully healed.
History
Mother: Name, age, occupation, anything interesting, personality etc.
Father: Same as above.
Siblings: Same as above.
Other Significant Relaives: Same as above.
Short Biography: Tell us about your character: where are they from? What is/was their home life like? Has anything happened to them during the course of their life that has affected their character significantly? Please tell us everything significant that has happened to your character in their lifetime. This must be at least three large paragraphs long.
Personality: What sort of person is your character? Are they a kind-hearted person? Vain? Obsessive? Caring? A bully? Give details here. You can include likes and dislikes. This must be at least three large paragraphs long.
Sample Roleplay
This must be filled in before your character will be accepted. Five or six lengthy paragraphs is ideal. It must be a roleplay of the character you are applying for. Don't just post an old sample from another site, write a new one. Remember, this must be in the third person, and past tense! It's okay to post the same sample as you have posted for another character on this site, as long as it is your own, and you mention so here.
Copy and paste this code into a new thread in the Starting Out board, then fill it in with your character's details.
